Who we are: Elit'are' Frenchies

Welcome to our little world of wagging tails and happy hearts! 

We’re a small, home-style breeding program located in the beautiful town of Carleton Place, ON.  

Our story began out west in Richmond, BC, but during COVID we made the move to Ontario—and we’re here to stay. With our children grown and out of the nest, our dogs have become our “kids” at home, and they live right alongside us as true family members. We don’t believe in kennels—our pups share our lives, our home, and all the love that comes with it. 

We’ve been proudly CKC/AKC registered and licensed for many years, always in good standing. With veterinary professionals in our family, we’re deeply committed to health and care. We also provide specialized neonatal support and sometimes rescue and raise cleft or sick puppies who need that extra touch.  

Our dogs are our pets first. They have full access to our home, are raised with love, and enjoy the very best nutrition—top-quality raw, kibble, and supplements. Every one of our dogs is DNA health-tested, vet-examined, vaccinated, and reproduction-cleared, without exception.  Our bloodlines are known and respected, with puppies finding homes not just across Canada and the USA, but also in Europe. Many of our pups have passed OFA health testing with great results and even earned top placements in shows.  

But beyond the titles and health clearances—our greatest pride is the joy our puppies bring. They’re raised like human babies, with round-the-clock care, hands-on socialization, and endless cuddles. The result? Confident, people-loving little “monkeys” full of personality, playfulness, and love. Families often tell us how easily their puppies adapt and thrive, and we’re always happy to connect new families with past owners for references.  

We don’t ship our puppies, but we do provide safe hand delivery across Canada so your new family member arrives with care and love.
